My Own Animals
Over the weekend I started looking at some animals that interested me and how they were unique in certain ways. Just like the Greek myths I previously looked at I tried to merge the animals together to create an entirely new animal. Some of them looked very weird and they definitely looked unique. However, not a lot of them looked good enough to make a character out of except for one.
The animal above was created with the head of a capybyra, front torso of a tapir, back legs of a wolf and the tail of a beaver. It instantly reminded me of a platypus.

These look really good, what you've done seems like a really good way to mix and match the different parts of the animals to form your own new creation. I like the first one best.
