Today I looked into making my designer toys. After some research into interesting animals I know that I want to base it on a certain animal or a group of animals that have a link between them. To find out which animal I want to base my toy on I visited the library and took out many books on animals.

The encyclopedia of animal life was the most helpful because it had clear images and useful information on nearly every animal in the world. As I did not know what animals I would be using, I had a quick flick through the book and then focused on certain animals that caught my eye.
