Inspiration - RANGO

My main inspiration, Rango

Whilst looking in the library at university I stumbled across an amazing book: 'The Ballad Of Rango'
I had really enjoyed the film because of all the strange looking animals but this book really interested me because of the detailed drawings of each character and the explanations of how the artists came up with so many different characters.

One particular designer in this book really stood out for me. Nearly all of the characters were designed by a man called 'Crash' Mcreery. I loved the way he put so much detail into each character, from the scales/fur on the animal to the unique clothing that every animal wore.
All of the animals in the film Rango are animals that live in the American Desert and that is why they all live together in the Wild West in the film.
