The Duck-Billed Platypus

After my trip to the zoo, and a lot of research into different animals through encyclopedia and internet I managed to find one particular animal that stood out compared to all the rest... the Duck-Billed Platypus.

I know that I want my toy to be unique so I looked into some designer toy books such as 'I am Plastic' and 'I am plastic too' and could not find any designer toys that were based on a platypus.
What made this animal stick out for me was the weird body shape and how it looks like it's made up of more than one animal. (just like the Greek myths I previously looked at)

Has the bill of a Duck, body of an Otter
and the tail of a Beaver

The platypus seems like the perfect animal for me :)
